What is inkasso (debt collection)?
In short
Inkasso is collecting overdue invoices — through a collection agency, a lawyer or ultimately the enforcement court.
In practice
Before sending a case to collection, the debtor must get a collection notice with at least 10 days to pay — it can be part of the final reminder. Collection adds costs for the debtor. Undisputed claims under DKK 100,000 can go through the simplified process straight in the enforcement court.
