What is morarenter (default interest)?
In short
Morarenter is the interest you may charge when an invoice is paid late. The rate is the National Bank's lending rate plus 8 percentage points, unless otherwise agreed.
In practice
Interest accrues from the day after the due date, with the rate set twice a year — 1 January and 1 July. In B2B trade you can additionally charge a fixed compensation of DKK 310 per invoice and reminder fees of up to DKK 100 per reminder.
